    Academic Dress Hire and Photography Purchase Form
  • Important steps 

    Please read the following before proceeding to the next page.

     

    STEP 1: Graduation Attendance

     

    Please make sure you have already registered your attendance for Convocation before filling in the gown rental form. If you missed the deadline and would like to attend, please email alumni@lasalle.edu.sg.

    Creative District is unable to issue the gown if you have not RSVPed.
    Graduands are also reminded to settle their outstanding fees before they collect the gown.

     

    STEP 2: Must Register Gown Online

    Please proceed to register for gown rental and photo packages (if any). You will receive an auto generated email once the form has been successfully submitted.

     

    STEP 3: Please verify your email inbox

    If you don't receive confirmation immediately, please check your junk and spam folders first. If it's still not there, please reach out to us immediately via WhatsApp text.

    STEP 5: In person Collection, Returning, Payment and Fitting

    In person collection:
    In-person collection of gowns is highly encouraged for graduands to ensure a better fit. Any sizing inaccuracies can be rectified at the studio. However, if someone collects the gown on behalf of the graduand and sizing adjustments are needed, please note that there will be an additional charge of S$20 for dry cleaning and sanitization of the collected gown.

    Return on behalf:
    If someone is returning the academic gown on behalf of the graduand, please ensure they bring both the receipt and an authorization form. These documents are necessary to process the refundable deposit.

    Rental & Purchase :
    All Rental/Purchases must be made at Creative District Pte Ltd only.
    Regarding purchases, we require a minimum of 2-3 weeks after graduation to prepare.

    1093 Lower Delta Road, #02-09, Singapore 169204.
    NO WALK-INS. STRICTLY BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.


    TIME FOR GOWN COLLECTION PERIOD:
    31st July (Thu) & 1st August (Fri): 11am to 8pm
    4th August (Mon) - 6th August (Wed): 11am to 8pm

    *Portrait Photography Session:
    2nd August (Sat): 11am to 6pm
    8th August (Grad Day): First come first serve basis
    (Catered specially for international students)

    *Note: You may book in advance for your photography shoot at the venue.
    📷 Photo shoots can also be arranged in earlier or later months with advance booking

    Normal Operation Hour for PHOTOSHOOT session: 
    Monday to Friday         : 10am to 7pm
    Saturday                      : 10am to 5pm
    Closed on Sunday and Public Holidays

  • PLEASE NOTE:

    Please select the option based on: 

    1) Please confirm your qualification before proceeding with booking a time slot for your gown collection. If you cannot select a date or time within the specified period, that slot is already fully booked.

    2) Any change/alterations to the date or time will be treated as a walk-in. Please be aware that walk-in collection may result in extended waiting times, as priority will be given to those who have scheduled and pre-arranged their appointment with us.

    3) Reminder : 
    Academic Gown hiring
    We accept CASH payments only. For transactions made using NETS or CREDIT CARD, there will be an additional charge of S$5.00 per transaction.


    TO NOTE: 
    Please note that group bookings are discouraged, particularly due to concerns about studio overcrowding.

  • Please remember to choose your preferred date and time for gown collection. Please note that date and time slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

  • Authorization letters for collection or return on behalf:

    1. If you are unable to collect or return personally, you may authorize a representative to collect or return on your behalf.

    Authorisation letter must be printed or email to us if you are requesting someone to collect or return on behalf. If no proper document, we are not able to issue the gown or return the deposit accordingly.

    2. Collection of Academic Dress : 
    Graduands are encouraged to collect their gowns in person for a better fit. Any sizing inaccuracies can be addressed at the studio. Please be aware of an additional S$20 charge for dry cleaning and sanitization of collected gowns.

  • Rental of academic gown is subjected to the following conditions:

    1. You are required to return items in good condition within the due date stated on the receipt. Failure to do so will mean forfeiting your deposit. Deposit will be forfeited if the gown is not returned. Please note that this is the property of the company, and legal actions will be taken for any unreturned gown.


    2. You will be charged for the value of any academic dress not returned and will be liable for debt collection costs. An academic dress set (or any of its components) is considered as good condition if it satisfies the following: (a) No cuttings/alterations of any kinds on any components of the academic dress set (b) No burns, tears, rips and run in fabric or holes on velvet or satin (c) No scotch-tape marks, discolourations or irremovable stains (d) No damage on mortar board or missing buttons/tassel.


    3. You are required to collect the gown in person for fitting. Academic dress can be returned by another party with written consent from hirer or graduate together with Creative Distrcit invoice (CP).

    4. All academic gowns have been sanitised. Only 1 time change is allowed for fitting.


    5. We will provide you with a sanitizer during your gown return so that you can sanitise the full academic gown, gown bag and drop into a box.

    6. No Academic dress to be brought overseas without prior arrangement with Creative District. Please note that this is the property of the company, and legal actions will be taken for any unreturned gown.
