1. REQUIREMENTS FOR VOLUNTEER WORK OR INTERNSHIP
I agree to provide Take Back The Night Foundation (TBTNF), Campus Outreach Services (COS), and/or any of their affiliates, subsidiaries, supporting and/or sponsoring organizations, or otherwise related organizations (hereinafter, collectively, ORGANIZATION) with work products, such as written works, editing, research, images, videos, and other projects as described in correspondence between the ORGANIZATION and myself (hereinafter, VOLUNTEER). VOLUNTEER will be responsible for editing work products, generating final edited materials, and demonstrating excellence in attention to detail, spelling, grammar, honesty, integrity, and any other skills in keeping with ORGANIZATION’S standards for excellence. VOLUNTEER may not reassign any task for completion under this agreement to anyone else with express written permission from ORGANIZATION.
2. TERM OF AGREEMENT
This Agreement covers the time period, number of hours, and/or project duration as agreed to and selected in this form by VOLUNTEER, with any modifications via email or other correspondence between ORGANIZATION and VOLUNTEER. ORGANIZATION retains the right to terminate this Agreement immediately, if VOLUNTEER acts in a manner which violates the standards or compromises the reputation of ORGANIZATION, or if VOLUNTEER submits any false information, plagiarized materials, or otherwise untruthful or dishonest material, especially, but not limited to, any work performed under this Agreement, at any point prior to or during VOLUNTEER’s work with ORGANIZATION.
3. QUALIFICATION FOR REFERENCES AND INCLUSION ON RESUME
Upon successful completion of all responsibilities and obligations under this Agreement and with final written approval from ORGANIZATION, VOLUNTEER may then include this volunteer or intern experience on their resume or other profiles. To list ORGANIZATION as a volunteer or internship experience on a resume, VOLUNTEER must have completed:
- 120 hours for listing a volunteer experience on VOLUNTEER'S resume
- 240 hours for listing an internship on VOLUNTEER'S resume
- 360 hours for requesting a recommendation for a job or school application from ORGANIZATION
- 720 hours for requesting a reference for a job or school application from ORGANIZATION
- All hours must be verified by ORGANIZATION, with official TBTN time log set up prior to start of work with ORGANIZATION.
- To list a volunteer experience or internship on any platform or document requires the above in addition to receiving written approval by ORGANIZATION.
Verification of hours requires weekly reports submitted to a direct supervisor of ORGANIZATION, who then approves the completed hours. VOLUNTEER understands that no financial support is provided for work under this agreement. If VOLUNTEER needs ORGANIZATION to complete a form for any third party related to verification of volunteer/internship hours, this must be provided to ORGANIZATION prior to beginning the documented volunteer/internship hours.

ORGANIZATION shall own, solely and exclusively, the copyright and all copyright rights to any program material that ORGANIZATION provides to VOLUNTEER to use during any work performed under this Agreement.
6. CONFIDENTIALITY AND NON-COMPETE
The VOLUNTEER shall use VOLUNTEER’s best efforts to keep confidential any information about ORGANIZATION’s clients, business ideas, employees, contacts, or the like; provided by ORGANIZATION or any similar oral information conveyed to VOLUNTEER. VOLUNTEER agrees not to use, either personally or on behalf of any other party; disseminate, or in any way disclose any confidential Information of ORGANIZATION to any person, firm or business, except to those employees and agents of VOLUNTEER whose knowledge of the confidential Information is required in order for VOLUNTEER to complete projects and must have prior written approval from ORGANIZATION to do so. VOLUNTEER agrees to: (a) hold all Confidential Information in confidence; acknowledge the ORGANIZATION’S proprietary rights therein and shall exercise at least the same care with respect thereto as it exercises with respect to VOLUNTEER’s own confidential information, but in no event with less than reasonable care; (b) take all reasonable measures to protect the secrecy of and avoid disclosure or use of Confidential Information in order to prevent any Confidential Information from falling into the public domain or the possession of unauthorized persons; and (c) not use, disclose or disseminate or allow to be disclosed or disseminated any Confidential Information to any third party without the prior written consent of ORGANIZATION. VOLUNTEER agrees to notify the ORGANIZATION of any misuse, misappropriation or unauthorized disclosure of any Confidential Information promptly upon becoming aware of any such misuse, misappropriation or unauthorized disclosure by any person including the VOLUNTEER.
7. NON-WAIVER
Waiver or non-enforcement by either party of a term or condition shall not constitute a waiver or a non-enforcement of any other term or condition or of any subsequent breach of the same or similar term or condition.
8. RIGHT TO AMEND
ORGANIZATION retains the right to update or amend any provision in this Agreement at any time.
9. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement contains the entire Agreement between the parties and supersedes any other written or oral agreements with respect to the subject matter herein.
