  • Executive Officers

    President: Responsible for the connect buddy program and calling council meetings. The President should be the point person in organizing and recruiting volunteers for Rising Freshmen Day, Music-Con, the Homecoming Float, choral retreats and social events, etc. Both the President and Vice President need to be available for regular meetings with Mr. Bowers and/or Ms. Wallace.

    Vice President: Oversees the Ensemble Social Chairs and helps them coordinate social events. The Vice President should assist the President in organizing and recruiting volunteers for Rising Freshmen Day, Music-Con, the Homecoming Float, choral retreats and social events, etc. Both the Vice President and President need to be available for regular meetings with Mr. Bowers and/or Ms. Wallace.

    Secretary: Takes minutes during council meetings. Should send a copy of these minutes to all of the council members and the directors.

    Communications Coordinator: Responsible for the upkeep of the outside and inside the choral room. Should be changed every 3ish months with the change of season. Should coordinate with the Social Media Chair for pictures.

    Social Media Chair/Historian: Responsible for the Milton Chorus Instagram. Takes pictures and documents Milton events, or coordinates volunteers to take pictures for them. Oversees the miltonchoruspics@gmail.com email. Should upload the pictures they take to the google drive account. Passes pictures on to yearbook when requested. At the end of the year makes the slideshow and scrapbook for banquet.

    Librarian: Assist the directors in maintaining the music library and recruiting volunteers. Music will need to be filed as it is purchased, passed out before concert seasons, and refiled in the days after each concert. 

    Ensemble Officers

    Ensemble Event Coordinator: Responsible for planning one social event every semester. Should be communicated well in advance. Can be done collaboratively with another ensemble(s).

    Ensemble Representative:  Makes sure that pictures of respective ensemble are taken and uploaded and saved to miltonchoruspics google drive. Assists executive historian as needed.
