Attendance Policy
In order to accommodate and serve the surrounding community’s needs, Chico Animal Hospital schedules appointments in advance. This appointment time is specially reserved for you and your pet. If you will not be able to retain your scheduled appointment, we require notification at least 24 hours prior to the appointment start time.
For your first appointment, a deposit equal to the exam fee is required at the time of scheduling. This deposit is non-refundable and will not be applied to the examination fee if the appointment is not attended, is canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment time period irrespective of rescheduling or exam completion. Following successful attendance of your first appointment, a deposit will not be required when scheduling exams.
If an appointment is not attended, is rescheduled, or is canceled within 24 hours of the
appointment start time, a deposit equal to the exam fee will be required when scheduling for the next two consecutive appointments. After two consecutive appointments have been successfully attended, we will return to the standard scheduling process in which a deposit is not required for scheduling an examination appointment.
Notice of Recording
For the purpose of medical record generation, appointments may be recorded electronically.
Behavior Standards
To foster a safe environment for everyone, Chico Animal Hospital does not allow for intimidating, threatening, or abusive behavior of any kind towards either pets, staff, or fellow clientele. Failure to adhere to these standards may result in the client being issued a warning, termination of services, or legal action where necessary.
Forms of Payment
We accept Cash, Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Visa Debit & Care Credit. Personal Checks are not accepted.
All professional fees are due at the time service is rendered. In cases of extensive medical or surgical procedures, a deposit is required.
