COVID-19 Community Action Fund Project
This fund is to support projects that are working to aid the community during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The committee will be meeting either weekly or bi-weekly to review applications once applications are submitted rather than monthly. The Project Applications are subject to a maximum of $3,000.

The CAF takes the safety of participants very seriously. How is your project addressing COVID-19 safety and precautions? *
The CAF takes the identities and positionalities of applicants into our decision making processes’ prioritizing applicants who may be adversely affected by structures of white supremacy and other systems of oppression. Is your project organized by people who are Black, Indigenous, other people of colour, and/or a part of other marginalized groups?
The CAF considers how easily projects can get funding from other sources in our decision making process, prioritizing projects that have not been able to find funding elsewhere. However, during a pandemic we understand that applying to multiple sources can be overly-burdensome. We are interested in your experience and will take this into account.
