Adoption applications are not always first come first serve. If we receive multiple approved applications, we have to think about what's best for the animal, and we place them with that in mind. However, if you have an approved application, we will contact you when we have a good match to fit what you're looking for or you can always let us know of any other kittens you may be interested in.
Once your application is summitted, we will contact you letting you know you are approved for adoption - if you are applying for a kitten during kitten season when we have multiple litters and multiple people applying for at times the same kittens, it can sometimes take longer to receive an email confirmation.

We ask that you please understand that our process is this way because we are a small organization with often only one volunteer screening applications. Please be patient with us as we work hard to get back to you as quickly as possible.
