A service plan cannot be designed without current information and input from teachers. It is further noted that all REACH Plus classes are denoted on the official transcript. This transcript reflects the student’s performance in the REACH program.

    1. I understand that my child has been selected for placement in this program because of academic needs that make it difficult for him/her to function in the general classroom. The purpose of this class is to provide more individualized instruction along with special resources that will help my child progress to the best of his/her ability. I realize this program cannot be held responsible for bringing my child up to grade level since many factors; including self-motivation and parent support, contribute to the child’s total learning capabilities. 2. I give permission to the REACH teacher to discuss my child’s grades, academic progress, and general behavior with his/her teacher(s), area principal, and guidance counselor. 3. I agree to work closely with my child to ensure school success. I will also be readily available for any special meetings or conferences that may be scheduled during the year. 4. Withdrawals: If the parent chooses to withdraw his/her child from the REACH program, all services will be available through the end of the semester. Financial responsibility will continue through the end of the semester.
