In response to community demand for more space to safely walk, bike, and roll while adhering to physical distancing requirements, Denver has designated several Shared Streets where vehicular through traffic is restricted, as well as Open Streets within parks where no motor vehicles are allowed.

If you've used these streets, the Denver Streets Partnership wants to hear from you! What do you like? How could the streets be improved? Should Shared and Open streets be maintained after the COVID-19 crisis subsides?

This is an example of a Shared Street. Vehicle through traffic is restricted, while local access is still allowed. For example, people who live on the street, delivery trucks, and emergency vehicles may drive short distances on the Shared Street to access their destination. People in cars are urged to go very slowly and use extreme caution on these Shared Streets.
