LAUNCH Augusta is a nonprofit organization committed to opening doors for students by providing early exposure to healthcare careers, academic support, mentorship, and real-world workforce experiences. Our work is rooted in equity, access, and preparation—ensuring students have the knowledge, confidence, and support needed to pursue meaningful careers in healthcare.

The LAUNCH Augusta Scholarship supports LAUNCH alumni as they continue their education in healthcare-related fields, helping reduce financial barriers as they work toward college and career success.

To be considered for the scholarship:

-       Applicant must have previously attended a LAUNCH program

-       Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale

-       Applicant must be a high school senior graduating in May of 2026

-       Applicant must be accepted and enrolling into an accredited college or university

-       Applicant must have chosen a course of study (major) in pursuit of career in healthcare

Applicant must submit:

• A completed application
• An acceptance letter and proof of enrollment to an accredited college or university
• An official high school transcript
• One letter of recommendation (non-relative)
• A typed essay of at least 500 words. Please discuss the following:
  • Why do you want to pursue a career in healthcare?
  • What motivates or inspires you to pursue a health-related career?
  • Has LAUNCH Augusta inspired you to further your career goals? In what way?
  • Is there anything else that you would like us to know about you and your goals?

Application must be submitted no later than March 30, 2026.

Notification of winner: Chosen recipients will be notified by award letter no later than April 30th
