PlayAbility protects the privacy and confidentiality of individuals by ensuring that all records and information about individual children, families, staff and management are kept in a secure place and are only accessed by or disclosed to those people who need the information to fulfil their responsibilities at the service or have a legal right to know. PlayAbility’s Child Safety Statement: PlayAbility is committed to ensuring the safety of all children within our service. PlayAbility is ethically and legally obliged to inform Family and Community Services if we should have concerns that a child is at risk of significant harm. PlayAbility may also exchange information with other prescribed bodies such as Schools, Health Organisations, Children’s Services or the NSW Police Force, if this relates to the safety, welfare and well being of a child within our service. PlayAbility will inform a family of a report to Family and Community Services and of information exchanged with prescribed bodies, where it is safe to do so.
