TIKKASKY CATTERY BENGAL KITTEN DEPOSIT CONTRACT

We honor our waiting list, so we operate on a first deposit, first choice basis. We accept Zelle for the initial deposit only, per kitten.

Kittens must be paid for in full on the day they are picked up, as per the terms set out in this Waitlist Deposit Agreement.

The terms of this Waitlist Deposit Agreement are as follows. Please read and initial beside each statement and fill out the bottom portion completely.

By submitting my wait list deposit and this completed form to Tikka Sky Bengals, I confirm the following:

• Waitlist Deposit. I understand that my wait list deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE (the “Wait List Deposit”). I understand that this policy is in place to ensure that I am fully committed to purchasing a kitten from Tikka Sky Bengals. This deposit is for one kitten. PLEASE NOTE: If for any reason you refuse a kitten from Tikka Sky Bengals, this deposit is NON REFUNDABLE. If you change your mind, this deposit is NON REFUNDABLE. If you decide not to get a kitten at any time from Tikka Sky, this deposit is NON REFUNDABLE. This policy is in place to ensure your commitment to us as much as our commitment to you. However, If Tikka Sky Bengals ceases to breed Bengal’s before I receive a kitten from them, my Wait List Deposit will be returned to me.*

I understand that my deposit is NON REFUNDABLE

• I have received prior approval from my landlord, roommates, spouse, or any other person who may potentially disallow or not be in favor of a Bengal kitten/cat living in my/our home. I do not foresee my living arrangements changing to a situation where I will not be allowed to have a Bengal cat living in my home*

I understand

• I understand that if a kitten is not offered to me within one year of my Wait List Deposit, my Wait List Deposit may be refunded ONLY if I have not refused other available kittens within that year. (“Refusal” = not responding to Tikka Sky’s emails, kitten posts on Face Book, or kittens posted as available on the website). If I have refused available kittens within a year of placing my Wait List deposit my deposit will not be returned to me. Instead, I may elect to forfeit my deposit and request to be removed from the wait list email list OR continue waiting on a kitten of my choice and retain my place on Tikka Sky’s waiting list. *

I understand

• I understand that although Tikka Sky will make reasonable efforts to contact me personally regarding available kittens, it is ultimately my responsibility to regularly view Tikka Sky’s website to view available kittens. By labelling a kitten as “Available to the Waitlist” or “On Hold for the Waitlist” in an email, on the website, or on its other social media, Tikka Sky is effectively offering the kitten to me. It is ultimately my responsibility to contact Tikka Sky to enquire about any kitten displayed in any of these manners if I am interested in it and have not been contacted personally. *Courtesy waitlist emails are typically also sent out with the arrival of each litter. *

• I have thoroughly read and understand the entire adoption process that is clearly outlined on Tikka Sky’s website on the page titled "Adopting a Kitten" and have requested and received answers to any questions I had after reading about the process. *

I understand the process

• A second installment due upon choosing. I understand that when Tikka Sky and I have agreed on a specific kitten for me, a second non-refundable payment of ($500) is due at the time of the 8.5-9.5 week visit. If I fail to provide the Kitten Deposit to Tikka Sky at this visit I understand that my chosen kitten will be re-released to the wait list unless other written arrangements have been made with Tikka Sky Bengals.*

I understand

• I understand that if I neglect to adhere to the second installment at the visit, I will forfeit my $300 Wait List Deposit unless I have made prior written arrangements with Tikka Sky to continue to wait for a different kitten.*

I understand

• I have familiarized myself with the price ranges clearly set out on Tikka Sky’s website for the various colors and patterns of kittens that are produced by Tikka Sky and am prepared to pay a price within the stated range for the particular kitten I choose. I also understand that the final price of the kitten will be determined by the time the kitten in 8.5-9.5 weeks old and I will be provided with a copy of the Purchase Agreement at the time of visit or shortly after, setting out the price, including all taxes.*

• I will provide the balance of the amount due (cash only) for the chosen kitten to Tikka Sky at the time the kitten is picked up. *

I agree

• I understand that when a time is scheduled to pick up the kitten, if i am not able to pick up the kitten within 24 hours of that date, a charge of $20 per day for boarding will be charged to me.*

I understand

• I understand that if I neglect to adhere to the Final Payment Deadline I will also forfeit my $500 second installment unless I have made prior written arrangements with Tikka Sky to continue to wait for a different kitten. *

• I understand that as the Purchaser, I am responsible for all shipping costs if applicable, including health certificate/veterinary exam, rabies vaccine, and airfare. *

I understand

• I understand that any kitten offered to the pet wait list is at the sole discretion of Tikka Sky. Up to 10% of the kittens born may be held back for further evaluation if they appear to be developing in a way that makes them desirable to keep for breeding purposes. It is at Tikka Sky’s discretion to decide which kittens will be offered to the pet wait list and which ones will be set aside for the Breeder Wait List. Many of the breed quality kittens held back for evaluation will be offered to pet wait list once evaluations are complete and decisions have been made. In addition, Tikka Sky Bengals reserves the right to return my deposit for any reason.*

At the time you submit the completed Wait List Deposit Agreement to us, please also send your deposit via Zelle using the Zelle link on our website.

Once we are in receipt of both the Wait List Deposit Agreement and your $300 wait list deposit (per kitten), you will receive confirmation from us by email that you have been added to our Wait List and you will then begin to receive our Wait List emails, announcing the new litters as they arrive.
