THE DERBY IS FULL!!! However - we will continue to take entries for a waitlist and will try to get as many in as possible, and priority will be given to those in the Intro to Eventing Camp who do not already have a Derby entry. If we have enough waitlist entries, we will offer a second smaller derby on Sunday so if you are entering now please try to keep Sunday available to compete. A Sunday derby may have reduced ribbons and prizes but we will try our best! Any waitlist entries that we can't accommodate or that can't come Sunday will be refunded in full.
Come join us for a fun schooling derby (Lincoln Creek Rules) and get ready for the eventing season!
Ribbons to 8th in the Derby classes, and lots of excellent prizes!
Closing date for dressage and derbies is June 10 (or until entries fill). Dressage ride times will be emailed on June 25.
All riders (or guardians for riders under 18) must complete a Riding Release on arrival at Grand Farms - a separate XC release is also required. Helmets are required at all times while mounted - helmets, back protectors, and armbands are required for XC. Note we will also be implementing a Covid-19 particpants release beginning June 1, following the example set by the USEF.
There is trailer parking and a trailer turnaround loop, and water for horses is available on site. Limited stabling available for $30 for Friday night and saturday, or $10 for a Saturday day stall. Stalls have dirt floor, you may bring bedding (no straw) or purchase bedding at Grand Farms for $8/bale. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to check availability.
All horses must bring flu/rhino vaccination records and out of state horses must provide current Coggins.
Please complete a separate form for each horse/rider combination. Payment is by PayPal, and you will be taken to the PayPal site when you click 'submit' at the bottom of the form. If using a school horse, be sure to confirm availibility and rate with Anni BEFORE entering.
Note that if you ride a second Derby at the same level, there is a reduced entry fee for the second Derby - the second dressage test and jump round will be schooling rounds and not counted for ribbons or prizes). Separate schooling dressage and jump rounds will be your second rides; only your first at each level counts for ribbons. Dressage rides for ribbons are ridden and scored separately.
