Minibus Disclaimer

Practical training is now outsourced to Tyneside Training Services, and new theory training has been implemented
Training is mandatory for any student who meets the requirements and wishes to complete the training, at a cost. This will be charged to the club/society members account
If you wish to become a minibus driver, registration must take place at least 4 weeks before a proposed minibus hire.
Please note that there are requirements that your club/society's trip must meet to be able to hire a minibus. Please consider these requirements carefully, and whether the club/society will have a real need for minibus hire when booking onto minibus training (if you are not on the principal committee, please gain their permission to sign onto the training).
The criteria for a trip must meet to proceed with minibus is as follows: minimum of 2 x trained minibus drivers per minibus; need for transport over the course of the trip, not just directly to and from your location; your location is difficult to access via other means of transport i.e. rural location such as the Lake District; MPVs are unavailable for hire
