HELLO AND WELCOME to the Maydale Rural Market, a virtual market and an initiative of the Horsham Agricultural Society Inc.
The Maydale Rural Market has been designed to be a perfect companion to support Victoria's first virtual agricultural show, the Horsham Show, where traditionally markets are as popular as the competitions to showcase livestock and jams to amusement rides and fairy floss!
From the first Horsham Show in 1876, we fast forward to 2020 where different is normal and the opportunity for new partnerships to be cultivated through a world wide pandemic has changed the way we conduct pretty much everything!
Bringing artisans, winemakers and world class producers of value packed products to everyone's screen!
The Maydale Rural Market supports home-based and small businesses across regional Victoria by offering one huge marketplace!

Our vision is for people be able to shop 24/7 in their own time or with friends after ordering some treats and a bottle of local wine. The Market will be open all year round, with the opportunity to rejoin same time next year!

Our rural market will provide another platform to elevate your online sales, as we share the link to your business page via the Horsham Show socials. It will also become another level of brand awareness for your business and an online shopping experience for consumers, taking them directly to your e-shop (or Facebook page) through our website and socials.
As you know, Social Media is the perfect tool to help your business connect with customers on a more authentic level and our cleverly crafted campaign through our socials will help drive leads to your e-shop and socials, with our following of over 3000.
We promise to tackle the intensity of this campaign by attaching your hero photo with direct links to your e-shop or Facebook but also the opportunity to change that image in line with the changing of seasons.
We're ready for you now, to spotlight your business during this 12 month campaign.
YOUR COMMITMENT TO US!
As mentioned above, this is an all year round opportunity which can be renewed annually on 1st June. Your business will be added to our socials once we've received your application and payment.
In addition, we'd love you to offer an exclusive Show special/s (this is optional). This connection will be made directly to your Facebook page for consumers. It's up to you how you schedule your Show day special/s during Show week (September 20-27).
Sharing our socials to yours is a great way to partner up! Don't worry, we'll tag you in ours and we'd love you to do the same. The more you offer the more we'll back you!
There is also a Facebook group page you can join to keep up to date with campaigns we may partner with. There is also a dedicated Facebook page for the public to scroll through.
Before we start, we'll need your hero photo (see below)! You can update this photo seasonally with an email to us at entries@horshamshow.com.au.
To engage us to be your virtual marketing manager for the Maydale Rural Market, will include an annual fee of $55* which equates to about $4.60 per month. (Check out the website to get an idea www.horshamshow.com.au/attractions)
This management fee comes with a bonus for your business with membership to our organising body, the Horsham Agricultural Society where the benefits include free tickets to events we organise throughout the year, which make great gifts for family, staff or customers or some time out for you (excl. the annual 150km Feast). You'll also be first with the latest news from Maydale Reserve through bi-annual updates. (Society membership is due for renewal by 1 June annually, regardless of when you jump on board).
*Note: While this campaign is run in conjunction with the Virtual Horsham Show and subsequent Shows, you can opt out at any time. However, no refunds will be made but your membership remains until renewal is due. No pro-rata.
