Place ONT in centralized location in home, elevate/wall mount 4-8' off ground.
Place ONT sticker on front of ONT.
Record ONT light levels on work order in comments section.
Record Speed Test information on work order in comments section.
Conduct Installation Testing and Validate all services working correctly.
Port and Activate telephone service, if applicable.
Pair the remote with the TV.
Demonstrate how the remote works with TV and how to re-sync set-top box with TV power.
Connect common devices like PCs, laptops, printers, tablets & cell phones (up to 5 devices).
Demonstrate how to DVR/record and view recordings.
Demonstrate how to use remote and voice functions.
Demonstrate how to use VOD.
Explain the TV App and how to return to live TV.
Provide customer with username/password in welcome booklet and fill out magnet for customer.
Leave customer home clean and remove installation debris.

COAX Splicing & Connectors

FIBER SPLICING & CONNECTORS
NOTE: No need to open the splice case. But, check to see that it is sealed tight and mounted to the frame in the ped. It should NOT be left to lay loose or just stuffed in. The slack should be neatly coiled.

If you are inspecting splicing after the case is sealed, put UNKNOWN for Clean (connectors have been cleaned) and UNKNOWN for Connectors (we use the SC/APC green connectors) and UNKNOWN for Light Test (that's when an optical power meter verifies that the fiber is lit and meest specs).
