  • Employment Agreement

  • This employment is classified as an “At Will Employment” according to Federal and State Law. Employees have the right to join or form trade unions without any punishment or discrimination from Snackco. No worker, regardless of citizenship status or educational attainments, shall ever be required to lodge a deposit in order to work with Snackco. 

  • Employment Schedule

  • Employee Schedule is communicated by respective management and varies between employees depending on work tasks and shift. Your shift will be between 8-12 hours, any 4-5 days Monday - Saturday for a at least 40 hours. Your normal schedule will be communicated by respective management. Employees who are scheduled for more than 5 hours will have the possibility to take a 10-minute break. Employees scheduled for 8 hours or more will also have a mandatory 30-minute lunch. Shift leader could approve additional breaks, but all additional breaks are off the clock.

  • Time Off

  • An application for time off has to be submitted at least 5 business days in advance for approval from manager. Approval of time off is subject to availability. If the applicant desires paid time off it will be awarded according to below terms and requires additional signature by Payroll Management on the application. Paid time off -Salaried employees will begin accruing paid time off upon hire. Hourly ​employees  begin accumulating PTO after their probationary period of 3 months.  Time off accumulates at 8 hours/month for hourly employees or 1 day per month for salaried employees. If the employment ends, any unused PTO will become invalid..

  • Overtime Compensation

  • Overtime is voluntary and computed based on Utah state regulations and all employees paid hourly shall be paid time and a half for all hours over 40 working hours per working week. Any overtime must be approved by the production management.

    Work position and responsibilities

    Your start position will be stated below, this could however change by verbal communication by your supervisor. Your responsibilities will always be to follow and enforce the company routines, GMP, and SOP.

    SnackCo reserves the right to perform drug testing on it’s employees in accordance with its Anti Drug Policy.

  • Payroll Timeliness

  • In order to process payroll in a timely manner, each employee is expected to verify on a weekly basis the accuracy of their timecard. Any missing days or inaccurate time needs to be reported before Monday of the following week to the HR responsible to avoid any delays in that time being paid. In order to help, we use an online system that can be accessed(not for clocking in and out, but  for verifications and requests) by the employee on any mobile or device with internet access. This system is Opentimeclock 2008.

     

    In addition, the employee is expected to complete all essential paperwork to avoid any delays in onboarding to the payroll system. If you have any questions, you may contact Christina Hansen at Christina.hansen@snackco.com

  • Background Check

  • Due to safety and legality SnackCo might perform a criminal background check on its employees and ask for your cooperation in this.
