  • IT Basics

  • 1) I can set up folders / subfolders and use them to store files on a desktop or laptop.*
  • 2) I can name at least five file extensions and say what type of files they are used for.*
  • 3) I can write and print a letter using Word, including cut, paste, spell check, insert image.*
  • 4) I can use an Excel spreadsheet to record information, eg finances, including simple calculations.*

  • English

  • 6) I am a confident English speaker with some technical vocabulary.*
  • 7) Do you have an English Language qualification (e.g. GCSE)?*

  • Software Development

  • 8) I can download, copy and move files between folders.*
  • 9) I can use at least 4 keyboard shortcuts (eg Control + P = Print).*
  • 10) I know what sequence selection and iteration are​ and could explain if asked.*
  • 11) I can name at least three (3) programming languages​.*
