DMV Doula Institute, Nikita Johnson CEO is committed to training aspiring doulas throughout the United States of America. It is your responsibility to conduct research within the scope of a doula prior to registering for this training. Doula work is 24/7 365. You can expect to be on-call for your clients, attend births in hospitals, at birth centers, and at home, while understanding how to appropriately address the many disparities within the community. Upon form submission, you are required to complete the required homework assignments, purchase books, and attend your in-person training workshop. After completion of the in-person training workshop, you are required to take and pass the exam during your assigned time frame. Opting out of the exam is NOT an option. If you do not take the exam or pass the exam, you will be required to attend my refresher doula training during the next time frame available for $125. I will not certify you if you do not complete all requirements. You are not allowed to share any information given in the training workshop or you will be subject to being pursued legally by my business attorney's. After completing and passing your exam, you are required to find a mentor serving your area. If you are unable to find one, our instructor will reach out to one for you. You are expected to remain under mentorship for a three month minimum. If you are already a doula through another certifying organization you will not be required to obtain a mentor prior to receving your certification.
