9 College-level Bible Units Required by The End of Year 7
The Teacher at RCS #19 states, "Teachers are required to have accumulated nine semester hours of college-level Bible classes by the end of their seventh year of teaching at RCS. RCS will pay up to the amount charged by the Northern California Bible College, with 3 units required by end of year 2, 6 units required by the end of year 4, and 9 units required by the end of year 7. Failure to meet each deadline will result in a $1,000 reduction in pay. A Contract will not be issued for the 5th year unless the teacher has earned at least 3 units. A Contract will not be issued for the 8th year unless the teacher has earned at least 6 units."
This means you need to have completed:
- at least 3 College-level Bible Units Completed by August 1, 2023
- at least 6 College-level Bible Units Completed by August 1, 2025
- at least 9 College-level Bible Units Completed by August 1, 2028
Only courses from New Testament Writings, Old Testament Writings, and Theological Studies will be accepted to meet this requirement. See the NCBC Course Catalog. I recommend NT101 New Testament Survey (page 38), OT101 Old Testament Survey (page 39), and 301 Systematic Theology 1 or Biblical Theology 1 (page 42). These three classes provide a very good college level overview of the Bible and it's foundational beliefs.
