EQUIPMENT
If training tools are needed the trainer can provide them at the owner’s expense (i.e. collars, leashes, tethers, etc).

PAYMENT
Payment methods accepted are cash, check, Venmo or Zelle. If a check is returned for non-sufficient funds, there will be a fee of $25 and you will have 7 days to submit cash payment. For payment of training packages, payment is due in full at the first session. For payment of individual sessions, payments can be made per session. Pre-purchased packages must be redeemed within 6 months of purchase. Any remaining training sessions not redeemed within 6 months will expire.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
If you need to cancel a session, you must give a minimum of 48 hours notice. The client must notify Amy Jacobsen or the administrative scheduler via text or phone call of the cancellation. If the client gives less than 48 hours notice, the client will either incur a $50 fee or will forfeit one pre paid package session.

No refunds will be given for services rendered. The trainer reserves the right to reschedule an appointment when necessary.

 

VACCINATIONS
The owner certifies that the dog is up to date on current vaccinations appropriate to the dog's age. Vaccinations can include: rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and parainfluenza (otherwise known as DA2PP or DHLPP). The owner certifies that the dog has recieved a negative fecal test result and is healthy to particiapte in training sessions. 

LIABILITY WAIVER
Paws On Dog Training, LLC and its family, acquaintances, or any other person acting on its behalf (herein referred to as “Its Agents”), makes no guarantees of performance on the part of Client or pet as a result of providing animal behavior consultation and/or training. Client agrees that Paws On Dog Training, LLC and Its Agents will not be held liable for any damage or loss resulting from failure of the dog to respond to any signals, commands, or cues taught to the dog by Paws On Dog Training, LLC or Its Agents or resulting from counseling and advice supplied to owner of the dog.

Client acknowledges that obedience training and behavior modification may be an activity in which damage or injury to dog(s) and/or persons may occur. Client will assume full financial and moral responsibility for the actions of his/her dog(s). Client further acknowledges that dog(s) may be exposed to a variety of environmental conditions which include, but are not limited to, vehicular travel, interaction with people and other animals, exposure to adverse weather, and exposure to areas with crowds and all types of traffic.

Client agrees that he/she, his/her heirs, assignees and legal representatives will not make claim against, sue, or attack the property of Paws On Dog Training, LLC or Its Agents for injury or damage done to or by dog(s) resulting from action or negligence, however caused, by Paws On Dog Training, LLC or Its Agents. Paws on Dog Training, LLC may provide client with training products and makes no claim as to the safety and/or effectiveness of such products. Client forever releases Paws On Dog Training, LLC and Its Agents from any and all liability and demands, which Client, his/her heirs, assignees and legal representatives may, have or may hereafter have for injury or damage to or by dog(s), and assume all risks thereof.

Miscellaneous
Client agrees that any pictures, audio or video taken by Paws On Dog Training, LLC or Its Agents of any private training session, group class or any other activity sponsored by Paws On Dog Training is the property of Paws On Dog Training, LLC and can be used for marketing, promotion and training purposes by Paws On Dog Training, LLC. Further, Paws On Dog Training, LLC will retain exclusive and perpetual worldwide rights to such content. By signing this agreement, Client agrees that any other people who attend Paws On Dog Training, LLC sessions with or on behalf of the Client will be bound by the terms of this agreement. In any action or proceeding arising out of this Agreement will only be litigated in the state of New Jersey. This Agreement supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between Client and Paws On Dog Training, LLC. This Contract for Training Services supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, previously made between Client and Paws On Dog Training, LLC.
