Adopters must be at least 21 years old in order to adopt from Red River OES Rescue.
Filling out the adoption application completely helps us find the dog that is the best fit for you. Please know we try to acknowledge each application as quickly as possible, but as volunteers we may not be able to respond immediately. When the right dog becomes available we will contact you. There are always more applications than available dogs. We know it can be hard to wait, but ask that you please be patient as it can take time to find the dog that would be the best fit for you.

The dogs in our rescue are spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and placed on heartworm prevention. They are fully vaccinated, microchipped, and placed on flea and tick protection. Medical treatment is given as needed along with a complete physical by a registered vet. They are placed in foster homes before being adopted so we can learn as much about them as possible in order to find them the best possible home. The adoption fee is $600.00 plus $20.00 membership fee, unless otherwise stated. Adoption fees are paid at the time the adoption takes place. (Membership is from January 1st to December 31st)

Red River OES Rescue performs home visits before any adoption can take place. If we are unable to do a physical home visit: (due to distance) a virtual visit will be done. While we do adopt to people from all over the United States we are unable to transport. If your application is approved, and you are chosen to adopt, it will be necessary for you to pick up the dog. We are a foster based rescue, the dogs can be in different areas, and different states.
I understand that if I am approved to adopt, and an appropriate match has been found, I will need to pick up the OES in whatever state, or location the OES is being fostered in. I understand that the Adoption Fee is $600.00 unless otherwise stated.
