• The idea of these mentor sessions is to match your aspirations with practical, real world advice, to help you achieve your goals.

My perspective comes from my years as a member of Gyroscope and more recently in managing The Faim and RedHook across numerous global tours.

This is your hour so please let me know what you want help with and I'll add as much value as possible. I'll provide advice on current or upcoming songs, your bands socials as well as your bands image. All through the lens of the global music industry in 2020.

At the end of the mentor session, I'll share my notes on your band with you as well as a handy spreadsheet I use for Spotify & Youtube playlisting.

Please fill in the details below and a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting date and time will be sent through. I'll then forward you the Zoom link you need. All Zoom meetings happen at 9pm between Monday to Friday (Perth time).

Thanks and look forward to the chat.

  • Feedback from our Zoom Mentor Sessions

Charlie Smith - Pot Plant House Party

‘The mentor session was an invaluable experience. I think it’s important for a band to get an objective perspective on their project and direction as a whole. How often can you have a one on one sit down with an industry professional with 20 years experience? Personally, I received an abundance of information and feedback on on our music, management, pitching, PR, image and everything in between. This has refined our focus, direction and overall relationship with our music and provided clarity for the future’.

    Felix Parker - Clonings

'Rob gave us great advice for navigating the music industry as an upcoming band. Rob has seen the industry from both sides as a manager and musician. The pointers he gave us on songwriting and arrangement have been hugely helpful for improving our own music over the last month or so.'

Mat Kenworthy - Ashes of Autumn

'Our Zoom chat with Rob was invaluable. His honest and detailed advice provided a heap of practical tips we can put in to practice right now to help grow our band. Rob was happy to share exactly how he achieved success both as a band member and as a manager. The chat really helped clarify our band goals and map the next steps the band should to take to reach the next level.'
