Pet Insurance Recommendation Policy As a new puppy owner, we strongly recommend securing pet insurance to help protect your puppy’s health and your peace of mind. Beginning as early as 8 weeks of age, your puppy may be eligible for coverage through various pet insurance providers. One example is Figo Pet Insurance, which offers plans that help cover new injuries and illnesses. This includes unexpected issues such as ingestion of foreign objects (like socks or toys), gastrointestinal upsets (e.g., diarrhea or vomiting), or other common puppy-related health concerns. With a pet insurance plan in place, you can simply visit your veterinarian, pay for treatment, and submit the paid invoice for reimbursement according to your plan. This allows you to focus more on the joys of puppy ownership—like playtime, training, and bonding—and less on unexpected veterinary expenses. Pet insurance is not required, but it is highly encouraged, especially during the first year when puppies are most vulnerable to health issues and accidents.

Puppy Health & Vaccination Acknowledgment Policy By signing this application and/or adoption contract, you acknowledge and agree to the following: You understand that the puppy you are adopting will be between 8 to 10 weeks old at the time of placement. At this age, the puppy is still in the early stages of its vaccination and deworming schedule. You agree that it is your responsibility to continue all required vaccinations and parasite prevention treatments as advised by a licensed veterinarian to protect your puppy’s health. You acknowledge that puppies are highly vulnerable to infectious diseases and parasites, including but not limited to: Canine Parvovirus (Parvo) Canine Distemper Canine Influenza Kennel Cough (Bordetella) Coccidia Giardia Ear Mites Other internal and external parasites These illnesses can occur even when initial vaccinations or treatments have begun. You understand that early exposure to high-risk environments can compromise your puppy’s health. Prevention Guidelines: Ensure your puppy receives the full series of Parvo and core vaccinations as scheduled. Only allow your puppy to socialize with fully vaccinated adult dogs in a controlled, private environment. Avoid public places such as parks, pet stores, sidewalks, and group settings until all vaccinations have been completed and cleared by your veterinarian. You accept full responsibility for the continuation of proper veterinary care, including vaccinations, deworming, fecal checks, and parasite prevention. Failure to follow through may lead to serious illness and will void any health guarantees provided by the breeder.
