  • While we do not believe it is possible to place a value on the life of a cat, we do charge a suggested adoption service fee”. This fee is to offset our veterinary and other cat-care costs,which is far more than we charge.

    By signing below, I am declaring that the above information is true. I authorize Astoria Cat Rescue to contact the references listed above. I understand that the completion of this form is the first step in the adoption/ foster process and does not guarantee an adoption.

    Astoria Cat Rescue reserves the right to make an inperson home-check screening visit and to deliver the cat(s), if an adoption/ fostering takes place, to ensure a hazard-free home and safe environment

    I agree to pay the suggested adoption fee of

    CAT: Over 1yrs old = $150 for 1 cat/$275 for 2 cats

    KITTEN: Under 1 yrs old = $175 for 1 kitten/ $300 for 2 kittens

    (Kittens under 4 months old are preferably adopted in pairs)

    (Prices are subject to change if our rescue vet partners are closed and we have to use local private vet)

     

    ADOPTIONS:I agree to work with Astoria Cat Rescue on any vaccinations/ shots needed after the time of adoption. I will also provide theupdated documentation for record keeping.

    FOSTERS:I agree to work with Astoria Cat Rescue on their terms of fostering and I respect their final decision for the wellbeing of cat/s. Iwill return cat upon their request.
