For decades, Ramah Nyack has built a home (often referred to as the happiest place on earth!) for hundreds of young children and exceptional young adult Jewish leaders; a place for experiential Jewish learning, joyful celebration, Hebrew immersion, social action, migrash dancing and life-long friendship. We feel a tremendous sense of loss with the cancellation of our 2020 season.
Concurrent with that decision was the stark (and scary) realization that Ramah Nyack would face a staggering $1.8 million loss by closing for the summer.
To date, we have raised over $1,000,000 (in gifts and a PPP loan) thanks to so many people. Yet, our work is not complete, we still need to raise $800,000 in the next few months.
Your gift will ensure that we can sustain a strong Ramah for next summer and for decades to come.
While nothing can replace the lost summer of 2020, we are already planning for Kayitz 2021. Thanks to you, Ramah’s future will be bright and strong; we will continue to invest in building meaningful Jewish communities for the generations to come.
