Tacoma - Stories from Home

1
We all realize that we are living through an historic event. In an effort to document the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on our community, Tacoma Historical Society is collecting audio (and written) diary entries from Tacoma residents. How has the pandemic influenced your life and the community in which we live? This will help future historians understand how the pandemic influenced the lives of those living in Tacoma.

We appreciate your willingness to take a few minutes to record an audio entry for our Pandemic Diary project. This next few pages will lead you through the process. First, we ask you to provide some basic information. By entering your email address, a copy of your story is sent to you.

We then ask you to share a story. When you are ready, press record and speak up to THREE minutes. After you're done, press play to review your recording. If necessary, you may start over and record again. Your entry is not final until you submit it at the very end. After you do so, you can start over and enter additional stories if you like.

If you have any questions, please contact communications@tacomahistory.org.
