Lubricate gripper rods w/ silicon spray lubricant

Note: The interrupt limit switches on both safety pan and safety cover will allow you to move away from the obstructed pan or cover, however, the full current limit switch totally isolates all movement. To test full current switch, fully depress the respective item.
Inspect wire ropes and swag ends to ensure no fraying, twisting, looping, kinking, or damage. If so, replace wires.
Ensure guide rails are plumb & diagonally square and no deformation.
Check all guide rail fixings points (base plate; apeture; blocks; brackets; ceiling for movement or sag.
Turn off power and lower lift to its full travel on emergency power.
Replace battery (2 year anniversary)
Inspect and clean inside of hoist unit (no cobwebs; dust; grease).
Verify lifht curtain working.
Verify downlights working.
Verify telephone working.
Remove hoist cover: operate the lift and record motor speed and motor current (1400 RPM and 2.5 Amp) with an empty lift (record below).
Check rope out of balance switch (by plucking ropes) and load limit switch to be operated between (375 lbs and 400 lbs).
Check operation of gripper system by lifting the lift cab with suitable jack to get slack rope and lower rapidly. Ensure slack rope switch has operated. (Note: the slack rope switch cannot reset and must be jumped to raise left cab off the gripper).
Ensure there are no oil leaksfrom the gear box. If there are no oil leaks , the oil level will be unchanged. (Note: Correct oil level for SK9012.1 gear box is 0.7L (0.2Gal) and oil spec. Mobil SHC 630.
Check the rope equalizing yoke for uneven rope stretch. Correct if required and record the differenece. Adjust by using the adjustments on top of guides.
Complete Maintenance Checklist and complete Maintenace Record. Ask customer if they have a maintenace book to initial and date.
