In 1981, Dr. Willard Leavel hosted a community garage sale to raise money to help his friends whom were dying from a new and - as yet - unnamed disease. This was the beginning of The Alexander Foundation.
For over 35 years, The Alexander Foundation has been supporting the LGBTQ+ community in Colorado by providing financial assistance to folks who need a helping hand. Our programs helps people in a variety of ways: assistance paying for school, help keeping their lights on, support paying for medical expenses, and helping people thrive.
We are completely volunteer-run organization and we are excited that you're interested in being a part of our legacy.
