The following booking policies are in place for the remainder of summer 2020 bookings (up to and including October 31, 2020).
-
Only entire huts can be booked. All family or group members must accept the collective risk of being with each other. This decision is based on guidance from BC Health Services, Alberta Health Services, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and our ability to comply with the most current public health standards.
-
At the time of booking confirmation, all reservation invoices must be paid in full.
-
If a cancellation is made, a credit will be issued and will be valid for 24 months. The credit amount will be equal to all payments made on your invoice.
-
We will require the names of all individuals staying with you for the duration of your booking.
If you or anyone in your party experiences any of the following symptoms during your stay, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY VACATE the facility and travel directly to your place of origin to follow up with your local health authority for possible testing for Covid-19. YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CONTACT The Alpine Club of Canada to inform us of your situation. Any associated costs are not the responsibility of the ACC.
These symptoms include:
-
fever
-
cough
-
sore throat
-
runny nose
-
shortness of breath
Physical distancing is required between ACC personnel and your group. When physical distancing is not possible, mask and/or shield wear is mandatory. Staff will not enter a facility while a group is occupying the space unless absolutely necessary.
You will be expected to sign a declaration of health prior to your departure. This will be made available to you via email and will be part of the same form that requires the naming of all of your party members.
The ACC reserves the right to close facilities at any time. Should this occur and your booking is affected, you will be provided with alternative options or a full refund.
