• Summer 2020 - ACC Hut Booking Request Form

  • NOTE: Before filling in the following request form, please check the availability calendar for the facility you are interested in visiting. The calendar can be found here If the facility is showing availability for your timeframe, please continue below to have us action your request as soon as possible.   • All of the information below is required. This form is NOT intended to represent a confirmed booking at any ACC facility. We will respond in the order in which this request is received. You will be contacted by our office within 48 hours of our receiving your booking request with further instructions on how to book, or whether your request cannot be filled. Alternative dates may be provided at that time (if applicable).

  • NOTE: We are adhering to strict check in and check out times. You may not gain access to a facility prior to 3 PM and you must check out of the facility by 11 AM. This is to ensure that we have adequate time to sanitize the facility before the next group arrives.

    Please fill in all the required information below. This will be forwarded to the ACC for our records and to form the basis of confirming your reservation.
  • IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE SEASONAL CLOSURE OF SOME FACILITIES:

    Not all our facilities remain open into the fall open on the same date. Please see the list below, to determine when the first night of your stay could occur. If you submit a request prior to this minimum opening date, it will not be fulfilled. If you do not see the facillity listed in the table below, there is no opportunity to request that facility at this time.

    The check in calendar that will show for each of the facilities, will indicate a 60 day rolling window. Reservations outside the 60 day window will not be allocated at this time.

  • ** Currently, access to the Elizabeth Parker hut is on foot only. There is no timeline for the return of the Lake O'Hara scheduled bus.

  • ** All overnight stays in National Parks require the purchase of a backcountry wilderness pass. The rate is $10.02 per person per night and will be added to your total invoice at the time of confirmation.

    *** Membership in the Alpine Club of Canada may be purchased at the time of booking.

  • Summer 2020 Booking Policies

    These policies apply for ALL bookings within the period of June 19, 2020 through to and including October 31, 2020.
  • The following booking policies are in place for the remainder of summer 2020 bookings (up to and including October 31, 2020).

    • Only entire huts can be booked. All family or group members must accept the collective risk of being with each other. This decision is based on guidance from BC Health Services, Alberta Health Services, the Public Health Agency of Canada, and our ability to comply with the most current public health standards.
    • At the time of booking confirmation, all reservation invoices must be paid in full.
    • If a cancellation is made, a credit will be issued and will be valid for 24 months. The credit amount will be equal to all payments made on your invoice.
    • We will require the names of all individuals staying with you for the duration of your booking.

    If you or anyone in your party experiences any of the following symptoms during your stay, YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY VACATE the facility and travel directly to your place of origin to follow up with your local health authority for possible testing for Covid-19. YOU MUST IMMEDIATELY CONTACT The Alpine Club of Canada to inform us of your situation. Any associated costs are not the responsibility of the ACC.

    These symptoms include:

    • fever
    • cough
    • sore throat
    • runny nose
    • shortness of breath

    Physical distancing is required between ACC personnel and your group. When physical distancing is not possible, mask and/or shield wear is mandatory. Staff will not enter a facility while a group is occupying the space unless absolutely necessary.

    You will be expected to sign a declaration of health prior to your departure. This will be made available to you via email and will be part of the same form that requires the naming of all of your party members.

    The ACC reserves the right to close facilities at any time. Should this occur and your booking is affected, you will be provided with alternative options or a full refund.
