  • Note: Occasional Students can take up to 16 credit hours before SBC application must be made. Before registering for your 17th credit, you must be accepted as a regular SBC student.

    Once you have been accepted, register for courses directly through Populi.

    Important: If you will be taking the course on campus there are a few things we would like to make you aware of. SBC will not be mandating vaccination for staff and students at this time. We commit to adhering to the Manitoba Public Health Orders and using other tools for protection available to us. Masks will no longer be required on campus at SBC, however we strongly recommend that masks be worn when people are feeling sick with mild symptoms of any kind, to limit the transmission of whatever may be causing the symptoms. Individuals feeling sick with moderate or severe symptoms are recommended to stay home until they are feeling better and physical distancing will no longer be required but is recommended.

  • **In order to simultaneously take courses at two educational institutions a visiting student must present a letter of permission from their home institution to their visiting institution. Please make a request to your home institution's Registrar's Office to send a letter of permission to SBC prior to your first day of class.

    Courses can be taken for credit or audit. Credit students complete reading and homework and receive college credit upon successful completion of the course. Audit students attend the course lectures but are not required to complete additional course work. Upon successful completion of the course audit students receive an AU on their transcript. Due to Covid-19 regulations there are limited seats available in classrooms this year and credit students will be given priority over audit students.

    Note: Some courses have pre-requisites (i.e. all 300-400 level courses), and therefore, you may only be permitted to audit the course. For details about pre-requisites, see the SBC website.

    Don't worry... if you do register for something that is not permitted, you will be contacted by the SBC Registration Office.

  •  2022-2023 Tuition Fees

    For credit courses: $284/credit plus applicable material/lab fees

    For audit courses: $142/credit plus applicable material/lab fees

    2023-2024 Tuition Fees

    For credit courses: $321/credit plus applicable material/lab fees

    For audit courses: $160.50/credit plus applicable material/lab fees

     

  • 3 or 4 year Bachelor graduates may take one free audit course per academic year or one half price credit course per academic year.

    Note: This applies only to tuition. Student fees, lab fees and textbooks/materials must be paid in full, so please continue with the payment plan for applicable fees.

    If you are registering for more than one course, the reduced rate will apply to the most expensive course.

    Students who are paying tuition will be given priority in courses with enrollment caps.

  • Payment is due on or before your first day of class. *Note that some courses have a cap on the number of students. To hold your spot, earlier payment is recommended.
