• About us
U.S. Digital Response pairs experienced, pro bono technologists with governments responding to the COVID-19 crisis, to help deliver critical services to the people who need them. COVID-19 is already overwhelming the data, digital, and operational capacities of state and local governments, and we are looking for mission-driven, highly qualified technology, data, and operations volunteers to support governments during this crisis.

Founded by former U.S. Deputy CTOs (who have run federal open data policies and started up the U.S. Digital Service), our fast-growing team is made up of technologists, public servants, and public interest technologists. We hope you'll join us!

  • The pandemic has impacted communities differently based on race, income, gender, location, age, abilities, etc. so we want to be sure the COVID-19 response adequately accounts for these perspectives.

If we get more perspectives involved, we can have a more thorough response. With that in mind, we’d like to give you the option to share some information about your identity and community with us.
