AGM - Special Levy

At the Annual General Meeting on 6 May 2026, members agreed to the imposition of a special levy to cover items in the 2026/2027 budget. The special levy will remain unchanged from the previous year at R200,000.00 for the 2026/2027 year. As in the past, we will again budget R200,000 towards the road reserve fund.

A budget of R3,516,109.00 to be retrieved by means of the normal levy was also approved, as amended.

It was also accepted that the payment options stipulated below should be afforded to members, interest-free.

Members are requested to indicate the payment terms of their choice by completing the form below and submitting it no later than 29 May 2026.

Members whose forms have not been received by 29 May 2026 will be billed for the once-off amount of R1 379.31.

Kindly note that an administration fee of R100.00 will be imposed on all levy accounts (including both normal and special levies) that remain unpaid for more than 60 days. In addition, interest shall accrue on all overdue amounts at a rate of 11.25% per annum, calculated from the due date until the date of full payment.

Purpose and Importance of the Special Levy
The Special Levy, as resolved at the Annual General Meeting held on 6 May 2026, is binding and payable by all members without exception.

This levy is specifically implemented to address financial needs that fall outside the scope of the standard annual budget. It allows the HOA to fund major repairs, infrastructure upgrades, and unforeseen or urgent expenses that arise during the financial year.

The special levy ensures that all members contribute fairly and proportionately to these broader community needs, thereby promoting the ongoing development, safety, and sustainability of Bendor Village.

Manner in which payment is to be made (Tick where applicable)

I, the undersigned registered owner of the erf/street address as indicated above, hereby commit to the payment of the applicable special levies. Such payment shall be made together with my monthly levy contributions, in accordance with the selected payment plan, if any.Members are required to select their preferred payment option (i.e., 3-, 6-, or 9-month installments) by no later than the stipulated deadline. Failure to submit a selection by the deadline shall constitute acceptance of the default option, namely that the full special levy amount will be loaded and become immediately payable in a single installment.Once the selected or default payment schedule has been loaded into the system, it shall be final and binding, and no subsequent changes will be permitted. Any payments received in excess of the predetermined installments shall be allocated towards future levy obligations, and not applied to reduce the special levy balance already loaded.This undertaking is binding and enforceable and is intended to preserve financial accuracy and prevent discrepancies in accounting records.
