EBERT GOLDEN RETRIEVER or PUG PUPPY BUYER QUESTIONNAIRE

Our golden retriever puppies sold as pets/companions with Limited AKC Registation are $2,400. And our pug puppies sold with Limited AKC Registration are $3000. Deposit to reserve is $500, with remaining balance due day of pickup when puppies are 8 weeks old. We breed AKC registered Golden Retrievers and AKC registered Pugs.

Every puppy family has different needs, and this information form helps us identify who needs what information and what homes might make the best fit. If you're a veteran dog owner, we don't want to waste your time regaling you with things you already know; by the same token, if this is your first golden retriever or first pug, we want to make sure you leave prepared for what life with a puppy may bring.

A bit about Ebert Golden Retrievers & Pugs before you fill out the questionnaire. We focus on breeding healthy adorable puppies that resemble the breed standard set forth by the parent dog clubs. Our golden retrievers are bred for dual purpose. They can excel in both the conformation ring as well as hunting trials and are great family dogs. It takes dedication and training on behalf of both the owner and the dog for any competitve sport you choose. Golden retrievers can vary in color from light golden, golden and dark golden in the same litter. We do not focus on color in our goldens but on structure and temperment. As for our pugs we offer fawn or black pugs. We do health testing recommended for their perspective breeds, OFA clearances are available. Our puppies are raised inside our home with Puppy Culture Protocals. Puppies have lots of opportunities to play with children, adults, other dogs and cats. We strive to give them new experiences everyday with different objects, sights, sounds and activities. Our puppies are highly socialized, ready to take on all of life's adventures with enthusiasm and courage. We evaluate the puppies for conformation (breed standard), along with temperment testing at eight weeks. Puppies will come with AKC Limited Registration Application, vet checked (health certificate provided), microchipped, current on vaccinations and dewormings. We no longer remove dewclaws as the science now suggests it can lead to arthritis. Our go home packs contain a blanket with mothers and litter mates scents on them, along with a sample of their food.

Ownership Commitment
The actual go home date will be announced within one week of the litters birth. Puppies are ready to go home at eight weeks old. Will you be able to take this puppy home on or within 2-3 days of puppies turning eight weeks old. DATE TO BE DETERMINED*

What to expect
Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Ebert Pugs LLC but it does not guarantee I'll get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.

APPROVAL AND DEPOSIT: Applications are processed in the order they are received. We breed infrequently, so we will only accept deposits when puppies are fully expected or actually available. During pregnancy and/or shortly after birth, approved homes will be able to reserve puppies thru making a holding deposit and completing the sales agreement form. If you make a deposit, you are committing to take a puppy from the litter agreed upon by both the buyer and breeder at the time the deposit is placed.

PUPPY SELECTIONS/ PICKS: Puppies are selected by the buyer in order of deposits received with gender and color (Fawn or Black) preselected at time deposit is placed. Selections will occur at 8 week of age typically on the day puppies are scheduled to go home. If for any reason the buyer must move their deposit to a future litter, they must notify the breeder in writing. The buyer is aware if they choose to move a deposit forward they lose the pre agreed upon pick order of their puppy. The breeder will not hold any particular pick order in any litter for deposits that are moved foward. The breeder will notify the buyer in writing which particular litter and or pick and or gender that may be available to them. Deposits can only be moved forward one time to an agreed upon litter, once a deposit has moved forward it is deemed non-refundable.

SALES CONTRACT: We will email you a sales agreement when we are ready to accept holding deposits to reserve puppies and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to picking up your puppy.

SPAY/NEUTER: We require spay/neuter at or before 18 months if puppies are sold with Limited AKC Registration.

REGISTRATION PAPERS: Our puppies are usually sold with AKC Limited Registration Applications, we always provide the aplications on the day you pick up your puppy. to register with AKC simply go online to AKC and complete the process (AKC requires a nominal fee to to register the puppy). Limited AKC Registation is typically for pet homes, you can still participate in all AKC events except conformation (meant for evaluating breeding stock). Occasionally we sell our show quality puppies with Full AKC Registration, available at an additional cost.
