Gardner Camp Star Party Registration
Gardner Camp has the best viewing sky in the entire region. Our Introductory Star Parties are perfect for introducing the night sky to interested youth, ages 10-17. We kick off the party inside our amazing StarLab planetarium where groups can fly to Mars and the Moon as well as view videos and animations of night sky marvels! After our planetarium experience, we use the night sky as our guide to identify constellations using a sky map and learn other interesting facts. During this event, participants will also get to view certain items of interest in the sky that evening through Gardner Camp’s high-powered telescopes. Youth will go home with a newfound fascination with the night sky. This is a free program. Registration required. Youth may be accompanied by parents.
