Thank you for taking part in A New Direction's Postcards to the Future pilot. If you have enjoyed the creative challenge of capturing an image and writing a postcard to the future, we would love to see your work and invite you to share it with us here. We will feature shared work on our website and social media to help highlight the experiences of young Londoners during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Taking Part

Submitted work can be from artists of any age, but submissions must be made by a parent or guardian for entries made by participants under the age of 18. Submissions must be made with permission of the creator of the original works.

We value the privacy of all participants, so to protect your privacy submitted work should not include photographs of the faces of any individuals. All submitted postcards should be addressed to ‘Postcards to the Future, London’ no other addresses should appear on the postcards.

Any images submitted with identifiable images of people, or personal data will not be collected as part of this project.  

Copyright and Privacy

The creator of the submitted work (or their legal guardian if the creator is under 18) is the copyright holder of this work. By sharing with A New Direction, you are granting a non-exclusive, royalty free, perpetual, world-wide licence to publish, broadcast, communicate to the public, and use your work in any media, including on our website, social media channels, print and digital publications and live events. Your submitted work may also be used for education, broadcasting and on the internet.

The copyright holder will be credited for the use of their work wherever practicable.

In accordance with the GDPR and Data Protection Bill (and any subsequent reiteration of that legislation), A New Direction will hold all personal data securely. It will only be used in the process of administering the Project. Names and email addresses will be held for the purposes of contacting you about this project in the future.
