  • Thanks for your interest in booking a Club J80

    As these boats require a certain level of experience to handle properly and safely, only pre-approved Skippers can charter a Club J80.

    To apply for approval, please email sailing@nyc.ie with as much information as possible on relevant sailing qualifications and / or experience. It can also be useful to have another Club member vouch for your skills and experience.

    A panel will endeavour to approve you as a charterer / skipper as soon as possible and email you an unlockey key to complete the chartering process.

    All approved Skippers must also enter details of another competent crew who will be on-board during the charter outing.

    The cost for a standard J80 Charter (3h) is €80 but we will also pre-authorise a credit card for a €250 damage deposit

    To apply for approval, please email sailing@nyc.ie with as much information as possible on relevant sailing qualifications and / or experience. It can also be useful to have another Club member vouch for your skills and experience.

    The cost for a standard Elliott Charter (3h) is €45.

    Elliotts are reserved for Match Racing training and Events
