PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: The fees below include six (6) days and five (5) nights of complete Academy participation for students and parents totaling approximately twenty-five (25) class hours of highly individualized daily professional training consisting primarily of acting, but also voice, dance, choreography, writing, and other performance-related disciplines taught by actors, dancers, choreographers, singers, writers, and casting directors from Broadway in New York, films and TV in Hollywood, British actors and directors in London, and the Royal Shakespeare Company live from Stratford-on-Avon, U.K. In addition to a basic daily 6-7 hour class regimen, all students experience hands-on interaction with one or more principal casting directors and/or agents from prominent New York and Hollywood casting companies and agencies actively involved in booking national commercials, television, film and/or Broadway, and a minimum of three (3) one-to-one training sessions with a professional Broadway, film and/or television coach or choreographer leading to a solo acting, voice, or dance performance in an online showcase for industry professionals on both coasts. In addition, each student’s experience culminates with a series of written, formal evaluations which include a detailed critique and candid feedback from casting director(s), agents(s), and coaches who have worked individually with each student, a specific format and listing of Academy credentials on a professional resume, a comprehensive emphasis on confidence, maturity, self-discipline, and proper nutritional and hygiene habits, with specific recipes, meal plans, guidelines and support. Additionally, the Academy will present several live instructional webinars exclusively for parents before and during the Academy week in topics related to arts education, child development, and health, conducted by Mr. Sklar and professionals in each field.
