Familiar Friends General Information and Policies

The purpose of Familiar Friends is to provide a safe, fun and stimulating social environment for dogs. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:

AGE: All dogs and puppies must have their second round of booster shots before being accepted into playcare. Boarding accommodations are made on case-by-case basis.

SPAY/NEUTER: Our spay/neuter policy is a case by case basis.

SHOTS: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations. Rabies is required for dogs and puppies over 4 months of age. 

HEALTH:  All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dog(s) are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 14 days. Upon admission, all dogs must be free from any condition which could potentially jeopardize other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 14 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted.

APPLICATION: All dogs must have a complete and up-to-date application, owner agreement and veterinary release form on file

DAYS AND HOURS: Daycare Drop-off times are from 7:30 a.m.-9:00 a.m. and boarding dogs MUST be dropped off by 6:30p.m. Daycare pick-up times are between the hours of 4:30p.m.-6:30 p.m. Any special request for drop off and pick up times shall be discussed beforehand.  

RESERVATIONS: Reservations are required for boarding. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged full fees. Cancellations with a notice of 24-48 hrs will be charged for a partial stay. And any cancellation notices given 72hrs or more prior to reservation will not be charged unless a deposit was required. Any deposits made for a cancelled boarding reservation can be rolled over on to a future stay. 

 By Signing this agreement, I understand and agree to follow  all rules and regulations set forth by Familiar Friends.

Owner Agreement

Ihereby certify that my dog(s)is/are in good health and has/have not been ill with any communicable condition in the last 10 days. I further certify that my dog(s) has/have not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards and person or any other dog. I have read and understand the following:

I understand that I am solely responsible for any harm caused by my dog(s) while my dog(s) is/are attending Familiar Friends.
I further understand and agree that in admitting my dog(s) to Familiar Friends, the staff have relied on my representation that my dog(s) is/are in good health and has/have not harmed or shown aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog.
I further understand and agree that Familiar Friends and their staff will not be liable for any problems that develop, provided reasonable care and precautions are followed, and I hereby release them of any liability of any kind whatsoever arising from my dog’s/dogs’ attendance and participation at Familiar Friends.
I further understand and agree that dogs can sometimes receive minor cuts and scratches during daycare and boarding, and any problems that develop with my dog(s) will be treated as deemed best by staff of Familiar Friends, at their sole discretion, and that I assume full financial responsibility for any and all expenses involved.
I further understand that if my dog is not picked up on time or by date specified in a separate agreement I hereby authorize Familiar Friends to take whatever action is deemed necessary by staff and assume full financial responsibility for the cost of continuing care for my dog(s).
I further understand that if I do not pick up my dog(s)on the date specified and provide no contact that Familiar Friends will proceed with handling according to guidelines provided by Texas Penal Code 42.092. I also acknowledge that I will be fully responsible for all attorney fees and associated costs if I abandon my dog(s). 

By signing this agreement I understand the rules set forth by Familiar Friends.

Pricing Information

Playcare:  $30/day per dog

(all day play, naptime between 11:30-1:00)

Training Add-On: $15 per Session

Boarding: 

Basic Boarding with Group Play: $50/night

Boarding with Refresher Training (includes group play) :$100/Night

Training:

Single 60-Minute Private Lesson: $100

Three 60-Minute Private Lessons Package: $270

Six 60-Minute Private Lessons Package: $480

Nine 60-Minute Private Lessons Package: $675 (includes one free day of playcare)

Bootcamp (Board and Train):

Seven Day Bootcamp: $1,000 ($142/day)

Fourteen Day Bootcamp: $1,900 ($135/day)

Twenty One Day Bootcamp: $2,600 ($123/day)

Twenty Eight Day Bootcamp: $3,250 ($116/day)

Day Training:

Single Day Train: $100

Five Day Training: $450 ($90/day)

Ten Day Training: $850 ($85/day)

Fifteen Day Training: $1,200 ($80/day)

Twenty Day Training: $1,500 ($75/day)
