As we look to self-evaluate on how we can be better allies and leaders in diversity, equity and inclusion, we are evaluating what barriers there are in place that should be addressed. Remember that "merely because a practice is prevalent, may be the poorest reason for continuing it."
We're asking you to have a dialogue with us on what potential barriers to inclusion do our policies create, what potential barriers to inclusion do our processes create, what potential barriers to diversifying our membership do our recruitment practices create that need to change?
Areas that we may consider are length of initiation, financial commitment, program requirements, semester/quarter remaining or completed requirements, meeting times and frequency, quiz and test requirements, etc.
Your answers will only be shared with the National Office so please be honest. We will share anonymous consolidated results with Members.
