If you meet the qualifications for admission into the apprenticeship program and a letter of intent to hire is issued for you by a prospective employer, you will be required to submit to a drug & alcohol test for enrollment. Marijuana has been removed from the test to enter the program but may still be required for employment for some contractors.

If the results of your test are positive (or dilluted), you will not be admitted into the apprenticeship program and you will not be permitted to reapply for a period of 6 months from the results received.
