Community Partner Project Proposal Application
Junior League of Jackson Year 2021-2022
Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Junior League of Jackson (JLJ) to use our volunteer and financial resources to help improve the lives of children and youth in our community. The Junior League of Jackson endorses a Community Impact Model for the selection and evaluation of its community projects. This model requires the League to identify a small number of critical community needs, and to place its volunteers and project funds exclusively or primarily in those areas, in order to maximize the League’s effectiveness in improving the community.
The League has identified the following community needs, which will be used for selecting projects for the 2021-2022 League year:
If your Proposed Project addresses one or more of these needs, we look forward to considering a partnership with your organization. If you have more than one Proposed Project idea, please submit a separate and complete application form for each proposal. All Proposed Projects must begin no earlier than June 1, 2021 and conclude no later than May 31, 2022.
Please note that due to continued uncertainties surrounding the novel coronavirus as well as continually evolving state and public health guidelines regarding group gatherings and social distancing, the League reserves the right at any time to make necessary temporary changes to its service delivery model. Such temporary changes may include the suspension of in-person volunteer activities, meetings, and events as necessary to support the efforts of the public health officials to proactively alleviate the potential spread of illness. During our review and evaluation of Proposed Projects for the 2021-2022 League year, we anticipate having an open dialogue with you as it relates to our ability to participate in your Proposed Project. Please see page 5 of this application for specific questions regarding coronavirus considerations.
