Osceola Arts: Arte Sin Fronteras/Art Without Borders CALL FOR ARTISTS- Deadline 7/31/24

Arte Sin Fronteras: Celebrating Hispanic Artists and Culture, Sep. 14 - Nov. 1, 2024.
- Osceola Arts pays tribute to Hispanic Heritage Month with its 16th annual “Celebrating Hispanic Artists and Culture: Juried Art Show”. This juried art exhibit honors the history, heritage, and culture of the Hispanic/Latinx community. All mediums will be accepted. Artwork can be traditional, representational, or abstract.
- Eligibility: Artwork must be created by Hispanic/Latinx artists or a depiction of Hispanic/Latinx culture by Non-Hispanic/Latinx artists. Artist must be 18 or older and a Florida resident. Osceola Arts does not take a commission on works for sale. No entry fee.
- All art submissions will be reviewed and selected for display.
- Only 3 entries per artist will be allowed.
- 2-D artwork is not to exceed 45"x45" inches framed. Sculpture heights and sizes may vary based on space availability.
- Notification of entry status by email by August 12, 2024.
- All accepted art must be gallery-ready. All 2D art must be ready to hang with hanging hardware installed and properly wired.
- All accepted artwork must have an identification label attached with name, email, and title of work.
- Delivery of all accepted artwork to Osceola Arts 2411 E. Irlo Bronson Hwy, Kissimmee, Florida 34744
- if shipping artwork please provide a pre-paid return shipping label. Osceola Arts and its employees are not liable for damage to works during shipping.
- Delivery dates: Sat. 8/24: 11a-3p, Tue. 8/27- Wed. 8/29: 11a-5p.
- All art submissions will be sent to Marilyn Cortes-Lovato, Visual Arts Director at marilyn@osceolaarts.org.
- Free Art Reception on Saturday, 9/14/24 from 2 pm-5 pm.
- Art pick-up dates: Nov. 2, Nov 4-6.
