Thank you for taking oart in the WSOA Emotion Coaching Project and for agreeing to share data with Somerset County Council Public Health and West Somerset Opportunities Group.

A summary of the data collected this year will form the basis for an End of Year Report which will be available for viewing on the internet. The names of schools participating will be mentioned in the the report but data will not be linked with specific schools unless you give permission.

This data collection has been reduced to the absolute minimum in recognition of the time constraints during the coronavirus pandemic.

FOR ALL SCHOOLS - We are looking at the Early Years PSED (Personal, Social, Emotional Development) score and how closely it correlates with later experience of emotional and behavioural difficulties. In 2018 the association in Milborne Port Primary was so strong that we are offering Emotion Literacy and ACE awareness support to parents and carers in Early Years as part of school readiness.
