To Qualify for Funding:

• The applicant must be a Special Education service provider (including special education teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, adaptive PE coaches) currently employed at a Title 1 school in the greater Houston area.
• Paraprofessionals are not eligible to apply.
• Resources or materials funded by The Lellow Foundation must directly benefit students receiving special education services at the applicant’s Title 1 school.
• Applicants who received a For Schools Grant from The Lellow Foundation during the 2025–2026 school year are not eligible to apply this year.
• The minimum funding request is $100, and the maximum funding request is $1,000 per teacher, per academic year.
• Only 10 grants will be awarded. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
• Applications will be reviewed after the application period closes and evaluated according to funding criteria established by The Lellow Foundation Board of Directors. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions following the review period.

Applications must be completed and submitted in their entirety, including all required supporting documentation, to be considered for funding. The Lellow Foundation may contact applicants if additional information is needed. Incomplete applications may be rejected.

Following approval, The Lellow Foundation will contact recipients directly with a purchase order form to complete the funding request. The completed form must be returned within 30 days of approval, or funding may be revoked.

By signing this form, I give my consent that The Lellow Foundation obtain and share information from any source to verify the statements I have made and to determine funding approval. Additionally, The Lellow Foundation may share information indicated in the section labeled "Description of Funding Request" for purposes related to marketing and fundraising by The Lellow Foundation (i.e. newsletters, social media, printed marketing items, etc.). The Lellow Foundation does not share any personal information of applicants or students.
