Thank you for booking your saddle fit with Equestrian Online and the Saddle Cellar. By submitting this form you confirming that you are happy for Ursula to visit your property or another set location to assess your horse(s) for a saddle fit. This will require you to ride your horse if there is a suitable saddle to do this in. It is absolutely no issue at all if you do not wish to ride, or are not able, however, this does influence the saddles fit so we do recommend where possible.

Christchurch surrounds:
Refit for existing horses $135.00
New horses or test ride $145.00

Canterbury Regional:
Refit for existing horses $155.00
New horses or test ride $165.00

Fittings generally take between 60 and 90 minutes. Test rides in new or used saddles will generally take between 90 and 120 minutes.

Please make sure your horse is in from the paddock, reasonably clean, and all tack is out ready to be ridden.

Riders should be ready to ride, and please make sure when testing saddles, that you wear riding tights or breeches that have no bling or zips that could scratch the saddles.

Cancellations and postponments not due to weather or in special circumstances must be made 48 hours prior to the appointment, or the full appointment fee will be retained and travel may be charged.

Booking and Payments

With increasing demand there has been an update to how saddle fittings are booked. We will invoice the base fitting fee, as listed above, at the time of booking, and the booking will be confimed on payment. If the payment is not received within 24 hours, we may need to offer your spot to someone else.

The cancellation policy above still remains. As always we fully understand things happen, with both horses and life. We will always do our best to work with specicial circumstances and rebook spots where possible. Please reach out as soon as you feel you may need to postpone or cancel your booking so we can do our best to support this.
