The Recovery Response Fund is a grant program to assist small businesses that have damages as a result of the civil unrest on May 30, 2020. The Fund is being developed through a collaboration with City of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Downtown Cleveland Alliance, Greater Cleveland Partnership, Destination Cleveland, Historic Gateway Neighborhood Corporation, Historic Warehouse District Development Corporation, and additional philanthropic partners. The City’s participation in the Recovery Response Fund is one of many parts of Mayor Frank G. Jackson’s Restart CLE plan. The RestartCLE plan is a comprehensive approach to assist individuals and businesses following the COVID-19 pandemic and recent civil unrest.
Small businesses may apply for a grant to assist with costs related to physical exterior and interior damages, property theft and damage, and loss of business income.
