- "By adding Sona-Systems to your course, CIDT will add the Sona Administrators, Dr. Madewell and Faith Kruebbe, to your course as Teaching Assistants. This will allow them to post announcements to the class and assist students in understanding the syllabus instructions. They will not assist in any other way.” Do you agree to this statement?

  Required Sona Points are included in the numerator and denominator for their total earned points. (numerator/denominator*100) = total %
- How many Sona Points do you want to offer as EXTRA CREDIT?
  This is the maximum number of Sona Points they could earn for your course that are only included in the numerator of their total grade. According to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) for Southeastern, this number cannot exceed 5% of their total grade or else it could be considered overly coercive and unethical. For example, if you have 1000 total possible points in your course, you could offer a MAXIMUM of 50 Sona Points for extra credit.
