I acknowledge receiving from Austin Odd Cats the kitten/cat referenced above and agree that:

All kittens/cats will be fully vetted before they can go home with their adopters.
I will give the cat proper and humane care, food, water, shelter, and all other necessities.
I will provide the cat regular veterinary care, as well as all needed vet care if the cat becomes ill or injured. Should the cat become ill within two weeks of adoption, I will call AOC for a consultation first.
I will keep the cat as an INDOOR ONLY pet and companion and will not allow it to be used as a mouser, or for experimentation or research.
I will never allow my cat outside without a harness or enclosure.
I will NOT HAVE THIS CAT DECLAWED under any circumstances.
I will isolate the cat in a small room for several days to allow it to adjust to its new home. I will not give the cat free roam of its new space immediately upon arriving home.
I will comply with all city, county, state, and federal laws relating to felines.
I will never give away or sell this cat. If I can no longer care for or keep this cat, I will return the cat to AOC. I will do so by contacting AOC and arranging for its return. No questions will be asked; no judgment will be passed.
If I adopt more than one cat, and need to re-home my cat(s), they must be returned as a group, unless Austin Odd Cats, at its discretion, determines this is not necessary.
I agree to let AOC to contact my current vet (if I have other animals) before bringing my cat home.
I agree to send an update with photos and/or video within 48 hours of adoption to Karieger1@gmail.com.
I will forfeit all claims to the cat if I do not comply with these terms, and allow AOC to remove the cat, without notice, from my home or premises. If I do not comply with AOC’s request that I return the cat, I understand that there will be legal ramifications.

My signature below acknowledges the following:

I have completed this Adoption Contract accurately and fully and agree to comply with all terms listed therein.
If the kitten(s) I’m adopting is/are not spayed or neutered yet, I understand that this is considered a pre-adoption, and that I will not hold ownership of this animal until their surgery has been performed.
If I fail to take my animal(s) to his/her spay/neuter appointment, or fail to contact AOC so they can take the animal(s) to their appointment, I automatically forfeit my right to have this animal, and will forfeit it to AOC, with no refunds given.
Since many of our cats come to us with unknown medical histories, no guarantees of any kind can be given regarding the condition of the cat being adopted. I understand that any veterinary fees incurred will be solely my responsibility.
No refunds of the adoption fee will occur, except at the sole discretion of Austin Odd Cats.

I understand that AOC has the right to regain possession of this cat if I breach any terms of this contract, or if any statement in my adoption application contains false information.
