Completing this application is a step in the process of acquiring a puppy from Naturally Special Farms LLC , but it does not in any way guarantee you will get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it is unlikely, Naturally Special Farms LLC reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time.
Approval and Deposit:
We will review your application within one week of receipt. If you home is a good fit you will be notified.
Puppy Picks:
Puppy placement is NOT done on a first come, first serve basis. Though every effort will be made to honor each families preferences, puppies are matched solely on the needs of the family and the puppy. We have spent a lot of time with each puppy and have a very good idea of how and where their personalities will shine. We use your application and our conversations with you to make the best possible match. Should your family be matched with a puppy and elect to not take a puppy from the litter, the deposit is forfeited and then applied to the costs of additional boarding, training and placement of said puppy in a new permanent home.
Contract:
I understand that I will be expected to sign a formal binding contract before being allowed to take possession of my puppy. We believe its the professional thing to do to memorialize our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later and for that reason its a bit lengthy. If you have any questions regarding the specific terms, please contact us prior to picking up your puppy.
Breeding Rights:
At no time are any breeding rights given or implied. Though we will not demand you alter you dog as we believe in your ability to research and make an informed decision on your own. It would be our suggestion that the dog not be altered before 2 years old and then we would prefer an OSS for the females and a vasectomy for the males. Ultimately an intact dog is of higher responsibility. A responsibility that should not be taken lightly! Please do your own research and make an informed and educated decision. In the event there is a “mistake” be aware that you will be legally liable for breach and fined no less than the expenses required to board, train and place the dog and any and all puppies born. We take cradle to grave “original home” responsibility for every puppy we bring into this world.
Happy Stuff:
Your puppy will come to you prepared for most of what typical day to day life looks like. Each puppy has been lovingly handled from the moment they were born and began ENS (early neurological stimulation) when they were just 3 days old. We use the Puppy Culture Program. We encourage you to look it up. There are so many helpful resources for all dog owners. We only use positive reinforcement training methods and we recommend you do as well. Each puppy has been well socialized with people of all ages and walks of life, other dogs of all ages, cats and most types of livestock.
