• 2021 Volunteer McKinney Volunteer Awards Nomination

    Please fill out this form to nominate a person, group or company for an award. Each nominee finalist will receive a special invitation and one complimentary ticket to the event. Only one category per nominee. Volunteer McKinney reserves the right to move a nominee to a different category. Deadline for nominations is April 1st, 2021. *Only information provided will be used in the selection of award winners.
  • 2021 Award Categories

    INDIVIDUAL

    Leadership Through Influence Award   

    Presented to an individual within a McKinney-area nonprofit organization, who demonstrates exemplary leadership, commitment and vision within their organization, and/or in collaboration with other organizations for the common good.

     

    Volunteer of the Year Award 

    Presented to an individual who exemplifies the true spirit of volunteerism through giving time and/or talents with numerous organizations in the McKinney-area, and who demonstrates a passion for meeting the many worthy needs of our community.

     

    Youth Servant Leader of the Year Award

    Presented to an individual under the age of 21 (or distinct group of volunteers under the age of 21) who demonstrates initiative, leadership and commitment to serving others with the McKinney-area.

     

    The Heart of Service Award 

    Presented to an individual(s) who consistently gives significant volunteer service to one nonprofit McKinney-area organization, and who has made a dramatic impact on the agency and/or the worthy clients they serve.

     

    Pete & Nancy Huff Community Service Legacy Award

     Presented to an individual(s) who has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to the community through a passion and dedication to volunteerism, board service, and/or leadership of groups or nonprofit organizations, championing and meeting the needs of the worthy charitable causes in the McKinney-area.

     

     

     

    GROUP

     

    Volunteer Group of the Year Award 

    Presented to a distinct group of volunteers who have joined together in volunteer service to others by contributing time and/or talents to a McKinney-area nonprofit organization and/or cause and demonstrating a passion for meeting the worthy needs of our community.

     

     

    BUSINESS

     

    Spirit of McKinney Business Service Award 

    Presented to a McKinney-area business for their demonstrated contributions of time, talents and/or finances within the community, and supporting the spirit of volunteerism within nonprofits including employment engagement programs and/or sponsorship of worthy community events.

     

     

    EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION

     

    Inspiring Service to Others Award 

    Presented to a public or private school, home school group or other educational entity that inspires and demonstrates, through curriculum, programs and community service initiatives, the powerful impact of volunteerism and serving others in the McKinney-area.
